Playlist Intervals

- Playlist Intervals allow you to create endless combinations of automatic playlist scheduling with AutoDJ.
- If the minute-based interval options overlap, the last configured option will override the others and completely clear the previous queue if there is another minute interval at the same time. Avoid overlapping interval options whenever possible.
For example, if you schedule ‘play 15 songs at specific minutes’ and another minutes type interval becomes active while those 15 songs are still playing, the newly triggered interval will clear that queue and play its own songs instead. As a result, the remaining songs from the first playlist will not be played and will be cut. This is the same for main scheduled playlists which are scheduled from the 'Schedule Playlists' page, the main scheduled playlists will override the minutes type of intervals in order to play scheduled playlist on time.
- The 'Play number of songs after every X songs' option will restart your AutoDJ once when it is created, and it will also restart your AutoDJ once when it is deleted.
- The 'Play number of songs after every X songs' option cannot be disabled by the On/Off button, it can be deleted or created only.
- All intervals support main scheduled playlists, especially the 'Play number of songs after every X songs' option works great with main scheduled playlists.
- On Air Mix: This option fades down the volume of the currently playing song and overlaps the interval songs on top of it, just like real FM radio. It is a great choice for short tracks, advertisements, jingles, intros, outros, station IDs, and promotions.
- Songs Length: The AutoDJ crossfade system may cut very short tracks, especially those shorter than 8 seconds. For example, a 4-second track may be lost completely due to the fading effects of the crossfade. It is recommended to use tracks that are at least 8–10 seconds long, or you can disable the crossfade option on the Manage AutoDJ page.
- Playlist intervals will not work if the AutoDJ is offline.
